About~ Hi, my name is CJ Hughes. I like old stuff. Especially old paper. I like to take old stuff and make new cool stuff out of it. The proper term is UPCYCLING. No, I did not coin the phrase, but I still do it. I am a self-employed, semi-professional graphic designer and an amateur tattoo artist {just kidding.} I like music and movies, see the last sentence, playing guitar, chasing my son through the house while roaring like a monster to make him giggle wildly & snuggling with my beautiful wife. In a past life I was a cashier, a fireworks stand owner, a gas station attendant, a bookseller, a potato washer, a used car salesman, an art school drop out, a delivery boy {both pizza and truck accessories but not at the same time} a wannabe Nashville songwriter, a Honky Tonk singer, a horrible guitar player, a stock boy, a music merchant, a shoe salesman and a murderer of love. I like medium size dogs that don't shed, watercolor painting, reading poetry that rhymes and crime novels that don't, drinking copious amounts of Diet Mountain Dew, Columbia Winery Cellar Master's Reisling and staying up way past my bedtime {it's currently 1:46AM.} |
